Project Overview

To assist Grady County with providing water access to a newly developed 1,000-acre fishing reservoir in Southwest Georgia, ATM was selected to provide specialized planning and design insight. Our initial effort on the project included a boating market assessment that was aimed at determining the appropriate type, size, and characteristics of boating access necessary to serve the waterbody over the long term. Subsequent work included participation in a variety of stakeholder meetings, boating access/marina planning, boating access site assessments, and upland master planning assistance. At the conclusion of our initial efforts, ATM was selected to conduct the engineering design on a numerous lake improvements, including four boat ramps, an earthen fishing jetty/breakwater, a marina, kayak launch, and upland civil improvements.
