The Bay Bridge Marina was experiencing structural failures of floating docks and anchor pilings in several areas in their marina basin. ATM was hired to conduct a thorough condition assessment, clearly outlined regulatory requirements for repair/replacement, and provided recommendations for marina improvements.
Through our initial evaluation, it was clear that the bulk of the floating docks at the marina were at the end of their useful lives and needed prompt replacement. ATM developed and spearheaded the dock and marine utility replacement program at the marina. Due to seasonal requirements (boat show usage et. al.), the dock replacement program had to be carefully phased to limit interruptions to marina operations and cash flow. ATM provided detailed project planning, regulatory permitting services, marina design and specification, bidding, contract negotiation and construction phase services during the marina rehabilitation.
