Residents Encouraged to Give Their Two Cents on Marina Project

West Palm Beach, FL— As part of an on-going study with the City of Naples, consultants from Applied Technology & Management, Inc. (ATM) have developed a public forum at www.naplescitydock.com. ATM is currently studying redevelopment and expansion options for Naples City Dock, Naples Landing, and the Pulling Property. Interested parties are encouraged to visit this site to view layout plans and provide feedback to ATM and the City of Naples.

"The City would very much like to hear the opinions of its residents," says Jon Staiger, City of Naples' project director. "This website serves a real purpose- to gain valuable feedback and solidify public support for any recommended directions."

ATM was awarded the consulting services contract for the City of Naples Marina Facilities Development Study in April 2002. A key component of ATM's project approach, which will recur throughout the study, is the consensus-building effort. It is the City's intent to develop an overall master plan for the waterfront properties that will address the overriding issues of the City's waterway users. The feedback provided through www.naplescitydock.com will help City officials better understand these issues.

Mark Bolchoz, project manager for ATM, has indicated a second public hearing should occur later in the year. "We intend to follow up June's public hearings with another round sometime in October or November, once the community has had a chance to digest the conceptual plans and general direction of the project."
