ATM has assisted the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA), the US Army Corps of Engineers, and private clients with environmental, structural, coastal, and value engineering services. ATM prepared Sampling and Analysis Plans for several projects consistent with the Savannah District Corps' Scope of Work for Brunswick Harbor. Several sites were sampled and comprehensive evaluation were prepared for material disposal on Andrews Island. Additionally, ATM served as GPA's environmental and coastal consultant for a recent harbor expansion project. Work on this project included the development of a wetland mitigation plan, review of sediment chemistry data, and coastal engineering studies. ATM staff also served as coastal engineering and dredging experts for the harbor expansion value engineering review. ATM prepared sampling plans for two of GPA's terminals (Mayors Point and Colonels Island) and negotiated and received maintenance dredging and deepening permits for the Colonels Island site.
