Summary
ATM recently completed the Boat Ramp Management Plan for the
City of Jacksonville’s
23 public boat ramp facilities. Work for this project entailed an inspection
of each of the facilities, and determination of a schedule of short- and
long-term maintenance based on priorities, cost and level
of use.
An additional aspect of this project was the creation of a site-specific
web page displaying information about the location,
size, limitations, navigation concerns, access areas, and other
user-friendly data for each facility. This web site is accessible
to the public and linked to various city and state servers.
