Project Summary
ATM was retained by Marriott's Castle Harbour Resort to design a
150,000 gallon-per-day wastewater treatment facility for their
premier Bermuda property. |
With a tight seven-month deadline to install the new
facility, the property owner accepted ATM's recommendation to fast-track the
design and implementation process, and environmental and building permits were
quickly received.
Working with Alenco, International, ATM was able to expedite the process quickly enough for the new treatment plant to be designed, fabricated and shipped to the site in time to be erected and operational by the established deadline. The treatment standards achieved at the plant allow the effluent to be used for golf course irrigation and toilet-flushing water within the hotel's property.
ATM also was given the responsibility for the civil
infrastructure design and permitting for Ship's Hill and Tucker's Point, two
new developments associated with the renovations and upgrades taking place
on the resort's property.
