ATM provided comprehensive ecological,
water quality, geohydrology, soils, geology, surface water, wastewater,
hydrodynamic, socioeconomic, cultural resources, and transportation
studies for the $600 million expansion of the hotel and resort
complex at Paradise Island (Atlantis), Nassau, Bahamas.
ATM prepared a comprehensive Environmental Impact Statement, implemented
along National Bahamas Trust guidelines. ATM then presented the
EIS to the Bahamian Government for review and comment. All regulatory
permits were obtained. ATM complete a Supplement to the Final
EIS in connection with the Phase II (marina development) portion
of the resort project.
ATM completed hydrologic/hydraulic modeling of the inner lagoon
system for a complete redesign and water quality improvement.
