Plaza Redevelopment &
Public Beach Revitalization Design

ATM is teaming with
Bermello
Ajamil & Partners, Inc., on this project that will involve
the following:
- Develop a civic
beachfront plaza at the terminus of Atlantic Blvd. as well as
frame a grand vista view of the water
- Beach
beautification to create a safe, attractive and pedestrian
oriented streetscape along the beach (Pompano Beach Boulevard)
- Enhancing and
developing design elements and standards for a thematic
beachfront promenade (signage, lighting, materials, color
palettes, etc.)
- Design a small
amphitheater or outdoor stage area
- Renovation of
existing beach facilities (restrooms, maintenance facilities,
etc.)
- Infrastructure
improvements (potentially relocating overhead utility lines to
the underground)
- Potentially
develop a visitor's center & other tourist-related uses
- Potential
development of the Pompano Beach Boulevard with new development
(small cafes, restaurants, retail, etc).
- Design spaces
for public art
